Got to agree with Mick on the ram cooler, I reckon it should be black too.

as a little update most of the case has been painted now! i will be taking shots of the detailing while i do it!

just a couple of things ive given my 8800gt to the wife and bought an Asus gtx260 top (216) the price was good and switched from the 800mhz mem to the ocz 1066

and ive bought some other parts which i need to take pics off and get them posted not today because its my wedding anniversary lol

you paid £216 for a gtx 260? ..

no thats the sp number, i paid less than £100 for it bnib

I love the fact that you made time on your anniversary to post about your Pc case, How when you gave the wife the graphics card, did she know what it was or was it a WTF is this and what do i do with it situation.

ok i know ive not been here for a while the wife insists i get better before i go and get worse lol (ive been going crazy in bed)
here is a teaser of what i started today (the wife was out the husband will play)

you cant really see what i can see when its done ill take it outside and take a photo (if im allowed outside lol)
this is my first attempt using an airbrush, i recon if i mess up ill sand it and spray it one colour
im thinking ill do the keyboard and mouse to match

anyways i hope everyone is ok ill have a look around and see what has changed

i figured i would add an upated on the picture above forgive the quality (i want getting my Nikon D80 out while i was spraying! ) but you can see where im going and i dont think its too bad for my first attempt

i went and put an update in the electronics post silly me!

well heres a few bits ive managed to get done! parts of the front bezel and some buttons


i had to buy a complete new system memory/cpu/motherboard and i bought the gfx card just to before the old system blew up!



i bought a ram cooler and decided to paint it the same colour (ive just got to put the purple sleeve on it
the drive bay cover is the 7" one at the top i dont have the screen yet so its going to stay for now (unless i think of something)

the buttons are for the internal lights, the back and bottom lights and the third is a secret for now





this is the front bezel which is going to have a back light which is going to be the hard drive active light, i have a anti vandal switch to replace the normal power button which sits in the large hole


thats it for a few days

hiya folks,

as promised heres some more parts for my hulk case


this is a sunbeam power adaptor which i changed the leds on from blue to green i need to spray it again (im undecided whether to have the whole purple styling matt or gloss, gloss handles for sure so it doesnt chip- open to suggestions)


these are the handles there is 2 sets one on each side


this is a zalman fan controller again with the leds changed from blue to green


an alpha display (blueish screen i couldnt change it lol) gonna make a logo for it

ill try and get some more done to show in a couple of days
